I first saw the beautiful skeins of Panorama Fiber Arts at the East Texas Fiber Festival, pre-COVID. The colors on display took my breath away – and I subsequently bought two skeins for a shawl. Heather is the dyer behind Panorama and she lives in southeast Texas.
It’s always a pleasure telling you about Texas dyers!
Heather dyes Panorama yarns on many bases, including….
Paquita Lace (70% Alpaca/30% Silk)
Hitchhiker Sock – Fingering (75/25)
Traveler Sock – Fingering (75% Merino/15% Nylon/5% Tencel)
Wanderlust Sock – Fingering (MCN)
Passport Fingering (70% Merino/30% Silk)
Backcountry – Fingering (100% Merino)
Aussie DK (85% Polwarth/15% Silk)
Matilda Worsted (100% Merino)
There are plenty of skeins available on the Panorama website – and that’s pretty normal. Hopefully, Heather will be at this year’s East Texas Fiber Festival and she’s usually at the Houston Fiber Festival, as well.
Ease of Shopping
Heather’s website is super easy to use and search.
When shopping on the Panorama website, shipping is reasonable.
Heather takes Panorama on the road to several events in Texas throughout the year – in normal COVID-less conditions. So let’s hope things get back to normal soon! Be sure to follow her on social media to see what events Panorama will be at – and to get the scoop on sales and specials!
