Primrose Yarn

Primrose Yarn

Several years ago, I got my hands on a skein of Primrose Yarn.  After looking at this dyer for years, I was so happy to finally see it in person – and it did not disappoint!   Since then, Primrose has changed their aesthetic drastically – to more natural colors and yarns.  And they are so pretty!  Even more amazingly, the yarn is sourced from their very own family fiber mill!   Kelsey is the dyer behind this yarn and she lives in Pennsylvania.

Let me tell you more!

Primrose  is dyed on many bases, including…

Adelaide (Fingering – 100% Merino)

House Fingering (50% Merino/50% Shetland)

Roan DK (60% SW Merino/40% Non-SW Merino)

Roan Sport (60% SW Merino/40% Non-SW Merino)

Rose Sport (100% SW Merino)

Homestead Sport (100% Merino)

Grange Aran (100% Merino)

Homestead Worsted (100% Merino)

There always seems to be yarn for sale on the Primrose website.  There are also several bases that have seconds listed on the site – for a reduced price.

Ease of Shopping

The Primrose website is very easy to navigate.

Shipping seemed to be very fast within the United States.

If you are in Pennsylvania, Kelsey hosts knit nights at her studio!  How cool is that?!  There are also a lot of kits for sale on the website – for some amazing patterns!  Be sure to follow Primrose on Instagram to see what is new to their shop!
