Red Stag Fibre

After seeing and hearing about Red Stag Fibre at several fiber festivals – and online – I could not resist this scrumptious yarn at the last East Texas Fiber Festival.  This yarn is dyed by Jason, who lives in Conroe, Texas, and is inspired by his travels in Europe.  He’s also inspired by history and I absolutely love that! Jason’s wife, Sharon, owns The Modern Skein in Montgomery, Texas.  They are definitely a crafty couple!

Let me tell you more…

Availability

I’ve always found yarn on the Red Stag website – as well as online at the Modern Skein (though I’ve never been there in person).  The colors that Jason dyes are intended to appeal to both men and women crafters – and they are certainly lovely!

Ease of Shopping

The Red Stag website is super easy to use and navigate.  There is even a Sale section that you can easily browse.

Shipping

Shipping within the United States is very reasonably priced.

Conclusion

I bought some lovely Riad Fingering and I cannot wait to knit with it.  When I felt this yarn knit up at the fiber festival, I could not resist it!  All of the Red Stag bases are scrumptious so I’m sure you can find something to like from this talented dyer!
