Stress Knits April Garden Club
A while ago, I shared with you the March Garden Club from Stress Knits. Stacy, the dyer behind Stress Knits, was a bit late shipping out the April club…but it was definitely worth the wait. If you like Stacey’s aesthetic of calm, mostly solid colors, then this club is definitely for you!
Let me tell you more!
What It Is
Stacy draws a lot of inspiration from plants and flowers. This is evidenced in her colors and colorway names. For her Garden Club, she dyes 5 mini skeins (20g each) based on a flower theme. For April, it was Tulip.
Along with the mini skeins, you get a postcard of themed artwork and a sticker (though I did not receive a sticker in this kit; I think Stacy had some problems getting these).
Why
No, I don’t usually like mystery clubs for my yarn. But I’ve been thinking of stocking up on mini skeins for a variety of reasons….
-Heel, toes, and cuffs of socks!
-Projects like my All Together Now Cowl, which I adore!
-My Battenberg Blanket needs a bit more color variety!
-You can never have too many minis!
I absolutely adored the March Garden Club and couldn’t resist getting the April one!
April
For the Tulip theme in April, Stacy dyed up some gorgeous minis! These colors are just so happy and I cannot wait to knit with them! I don’t gravitate toward green but I love this one! And yellow and pink…,just delightful!
Though Stacy hasn’t listed another Garden Club, I hope she does! I’d love to see what other colors she can dye up. Her aesthetic is just so beautiful!
