WIPs – October 2021
How is it the end of October?! Time is just flying by! The fact that we were on vacation for a while earlier this week doesn’t help. It was great to get away but now that we’re home, it feels like I’ve missed out on a month! I’m still knitting on my WIPs though I don’t have any FOs to show for it.
But on to the WIPs….
Shawlography MKAL
The project that is getting most of my attention is the Westknits MKAL, Shawlography. I took this project on vacation but still fell behind during the massive Clue 2. So I’m still not done with that. With a day filled with football today, I’m hoping to finish that and start Clue 3!
Long Summer Cardigan
I’ve made no progress on Joji Locatelli’s Long Summer Cardigan. I’m not in a rush to finish this project so it’s taken a backseat to most of my other WIPs.
2nd Halloween Socks
I’m so close to finishing these socks! I just have the toe of one sock left! And I love these socks! Who knew that knitting two pairs of socks from the same yarn would be so much fun?!
Celebration Socks
Because I’m an idiot, I thought I’d have time to knit on other projects during the Westknits MKAL. So I started these socks as a project to knit when I needed a break from Shawlography… But I don’t have time for breaks!!
Battenberg Blanket
I’ve done a few squares for my Battenberg but not many. Again – Shawlography!!
Candy Cane Lane Advent Shawl
This shawl is so close to being done! When I finish the MKAL, I’m going to devote more time to this so that it’ll be done before the end of the year. Then I can start thinking about my advent project for next year!
What’s Next
I must finish Shawlography before Thanksgiving because I want to cast on two pairs of Christmas socks. At least. I’m trying to get into the holiday mood but that has not happened yet. What’s wrong with me?!
