Work Gauntlets
Last year, I somehow used up the majority of the Sundara Yarn in my stash. I have no idea why – except that the colors were really calling to me. So, not surprisingly, I chose a Sundara yarn with which to make myself a pair of fingerless gloves, like the ones I made for my hubby. And when I went to look for a pattern, I could think of only one…
Pattern
Susan B. Anderson’s Happily Ever After Mitts pattern is just so much fun to knit that I wanted to knit it all over again. This time, I wanted longer arms so that, when I was cold in the office in the summer, I would have something with which to cover up my bare arms.
I probably should have chosen a neutral color, to go with more work clothes. But what fun is that?! This yarn by Sundara was perfect for me – pinks and purples.
Details

For this pair, I cast on 63 stitches and made the thumb-hole 14 stitches. I knit – for a long time. And it was so much fun to knit these. They are the perfect project for TV knitting! Easy, fun, quick….and with variegated yarn, it’s always a treat to watch the colors come together.
And these are warm! Fingerless gloves are great for work, when you have to be able to type and mouse all day long. I’ve worn these quite a bit and really enjoy them!
