Yarn Bliss Box – May 2022

I have a yarn subscription box update for you today!  For the second month, I’ve subscribed to the new Yarn Bliss Box from Speckled Finch Studios.  Let me tell you…  This box continues to surprise.  Last month was wonderful but May took this box to a new level, especially as far as extras are concerned.  

Let me tell you all about it!  

What It Is

Nina of Speckled Finch Studios has created the Yarn Bliss Box, which is a monthly yarn subscription.   Each month you get one, or two (your choice), skeins of fingering-weight yarn and some goodies.  Also included in the box is a discount code for Nina’s shop, just in case you need more yarn.  

The colorways in the Yarn Bliss Box are exclusive and won’t be dyed for a year.  

You can cancel anytime, which helps if you’re uncertain about mystery yarn colors, like myself!  

May Edition

The May Yarn Biss Box was such a lovely surprise.  The theme for the month was Bees and Honey and the contents of the box were wrapped in the most beautiful tissue paper….with bees!  

First, the yarn…  This month’s colorway, Oh Honey, is a glorious, speckled gold.  While I don’t knit with a lot of yellow-ish colorways, because I can’t wear them, I’ve always loved yellow.  And I love this colorway!

The extras this month were so cool!  Just like last month, there were  progress keepers – a bee and honeycomb!  How adorable!  Also included was a super cute bee notions tin from Twice Sheared Sheep.  And lastly, there were honey sticks to put in your tea!  I didn’t know these even existed!  These were from Sister Bees.  

Conclusion

Yes… I’ve already subscribed to next month’s Yarn Bliss Box.  I can’t resist!  I’ve never done anything like this and I love the surprise!  I also love that the monthly themes aren’t predictable; I never would have thought about bees!
